RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Lincoln University (Pa.) women's soccer team held Felician University scoreless through the opening 69 minutes, but two second-half goals lifted the Golden Falcons to a 2-0 victory Sunday afternoon at Tryon Field.
Lincoln moved to 0-3-2 overall and 0-1 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play, while Felician improved to 3-5 overall and 1-1 in the conference.

Lincoln finished with three shots, including one on goal. Clarke, Poullard and Allison each recorded one attempt. Washington played more than 80 minutes in goal and finished with two saves, while
Nicole Lilja (Lanham, MD) completed the match without allowing a goal.
Felician recorded nine shots, placed four on target, and held a 1-0 advantage in corner kicks.
How it Happened
The Lions' defense delivered a strong opening half, limiting Felician to three shots as the team's entered halftime tied at zero.
Lincoln generated its best opportunity of the opening period in the 35th minute when
Aleisa Clarke (Smyrna, DE) placed a shot on goal, but Felician goalkeeper Isabella Riollano made the save.
Jordan Allison (Baltimore, MD) also recorded an attempt during the first half.
Felician increased its attacking pressure after halftime, but Lincoln goalkeeper
Nevaeh Washington (Philadelphia, PA) made saves in the 54th and 68th minutes to keep the match scoreless.
Briana Poullard (Elkton, MD) attempted to break the deadlock for the Lions in the 56th minute, sending a shot narrowly wide.
The Golden Falcons eventually moved ahead in the 70th minute when Ashley Cerqueira scored off an assist by Sierra Moretto. Felician added an insurance goal in the 81st minute as Jalyn Tse converted a pass from Evee Augustine.
