LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – The Lincoln University (Pa.) women's soccer team opens Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play on Sunday, September 20, when the Lions travel to Rutherford, New Jersey, to face Felician University.
Kickoff is scheduled for noon.
Match Information
Lincoln enters the conference opener with a 0-2-2 record after completing a four-match nonconference slate. The Lions earned draws against Bluefield State and Salem while suffering setbacks against Shaw and Monroe.
The Lions will look to regain their attacking rhythm after being held scoreless in their most recent contest against Monroe. Briana Pollard and
Jenesis Kitchen (Baltimore, MD) have helped lead Lincoln's offensive efforts this season, while
Aleisa Clarke (Smyrna, DE),
Ricyonna Walker (Kingston, Jamaica) and the Lions' defensive unit will be tasked with limiting Felician's opportunities.
Sunday's match begins an important stretch for Lincoln, which will play three consecutive CACC contests. Following the trip to Felician, the Lions visit Chestnut Hill College on Tuesday, September 22, before returning home to host Georgian Court University on Friday, September 25.
