Orangeburg, SC – January 10, 2026 - The Lincoln University women's basketball team fell to Claflin University, 68–34, Saturday afternoon at Tullis Arena.
Hunter Conway (Detroit, MI/Belleville HS) and Serenity Burgess (Coatesville, PA) led the Lions with nine points each, while Kaziah Akinniyi (Baltimore, Md./Poly) added eight points. Lincoln showed its best stretch in the second quarter, shooting 50 percent from the floor to cut into the deficit, but struggled offensively in the second half.
The Lions finished the game shooting 23.9 percent from the field and were held scoreless from the floor in the fourth quarter. Claflin capitalized on its efficiency, shooting 58.7 percent overall and knocking down 11 three-pointers to pull away.
