Hampton, VA- September 13, 2024 - The Lincoln University (PA) women's soccer team fell to the Hampton University Pirates on their trip to Virginia, with a final score of 0-2.

The game started out slow with neither team having control of the game in the opening minutes. It wasn't until the 39
th minute that the Pirates scored going into the second half. Hampton was able to score again in the second and played well on the defensive side of the ball, which was enough to stop the Lions attack offensively.

The Lions put together four shots during the game with
Adiaha Witherspoon () (2)
Keilani Broadnax () (1) and
Justyce King (Naperville, Ill./Metea Valley) (1) all having shots on goal.

While sophomore goalie Naveah Washington had three saves in her second game starting this season.

The Lincoln University (PA.) women's soccer team will be on the road once again Wednesday September 18, 2024, as they face off against Holy Family University in a conference game starting at 7 p.m. in Philadelphia, PA.
