Richmond, VA November 4, 2024 - The Lincoln University (PA) women's volleyball team fell to Virginia Union University in three sets with final scores of 16-25,15-25,19-25.
 
It was a well-played game for the Lions as the team was able to keep the game close in each set.
 
The team was led by Freshman Elise Carter (Smyrna, DE/Smyrna HS) and Sophomore Charly Manley (Upper Marlboro, MD/Frederick Douglass HS) in kills with both players having nine kills during the match. while Kendra Williams (Dover, Del./Dover) was behind her with three kills.
 
On defense Mariah Webster (Detroit, Mich./Cass Tech/) led the team in digs with 17 while Carter added one block.
 
The Lincoln University (PA) women's volleyball team will be at home for their next match up as they face Bowie State University, here at Lincoln with game time starting at 7 p.m. on Thursday Nov 7, 2024.
