Lincoln (PA) Top Performers:
Â
- For the first 47 games of her Lions career, Pollock never grabbed more than eight boards in a single game nor notched a double-double. She surpassed both in her last two home games back-to-back, culminating in a game-best 13 points plus a personal/contest-high of 12 rebounds, leading all game participants with six assists on top of snatching away four steals as well.
Â
- The only players to top the senior on her special day in any category was Anyssa Fields (Long Branch, N.J./Long Branch) who went for a game-best six steals and the team's single block.
Â
- Ciani Montgomery (Philadelphia, Pa./West Catholic Prep) was the only other Lion to score in the double-digits and one of just three on either side during the defensive slugfest, recording 12 points off the bench.
Â
- Isis Triplett (Orlando, Fl./West Oaks Academy), who has thrust herself into a starting role the past four matchups, spent a season-high 31 minutes on the floor, contributing nine points, six rebounds, an assist, and a steal on 4-of-6 (66.7%) shooting.
Â
Notes:
Â
- The Lions were ferocious on defense, snagging a campaign-high 18 steals which contributed to 28 Vikings turnovers for a plus-9 margin.
Â
- The 28 mistakes by the visitors from North Carolina was the second-highest turnover tally caused by Lincoln this season, only topped by the 30 turnovers forced vs. Livingstone.
