Win Streak Reaches Double-Digits As Kania Pollock Dominates Stat Sheet


LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – The Lincoln University of Pennsylvania women's basketball program scored 76 points for the second straight game and outscored the Trojans by 15 (25-10) in the final frame to pull away for its tenth win in-a-row, 76-58.

  • Kania Pollock (Queens, N.Y./The Mary Louis Academy) set three new individual game-highs for the Orange and Blue on the evening regarding free throws made (11), free throw attempts (15), and steals (8). All three categories were new career-bests for Pollock who also set a career-high with seven assists, topped the Lions at seven rebounds, and dropped a contest-most 21 points in a balanced, lethal assault on the unsuspecting Trojans.
 
  • Anyssa Fields (Long Branch, N.J./Long Branch) and D'Ayzha Atkinson (Philadelphia, Pa./Neumann-Goretti) were a dynamic duo all evening long, combining to go 9-for-12 (75%), 25 points, ten boards, an assist plus a steal with Atkinson's production coming off the bench.
 
  • Serena Mosley (Athens, Ga./Chamblee Charter) set new season-highs with three free throws made and four attempts while Shaye Smith (Philadelphia, Pa./Life Center) knocked down her first career three-pointer.
 
Notes:
 
  • Lincoln bullied the visitors on the boards, surrendering a season-low 20 rebounds to VSU, six fewer than its previous best (Cheyney, 26), and posted a stellar plus-15 rebounding margin (35-20).
