WSOC wraps up home portion of schedule

The Lincoln University women's soccer team concluded the home portion of their 2022 schedule with a 4-0 loss to Bloomfield in non-conference action Thursday at the Lincoln University Athletics Stadium. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Bloomfield got on the board in the seventh and 12th minutes of the game to take the early lead and prompt a defensive change. With sophomore Grace Quiah (Philadelphia, Pa./John Bartram) manning the left back position, the Lincoln defense improved tremendously. 
  • The Bears added a pair of goals in the second half, one of a rebounded shot off the sidebar and the other a header from a corner kick. 
  • Lincoln finished with nine total shots, five of which came off the foot of sophomore Parker Moss (Elmira, N.Y./Elmira). She accounted for all four shots on goal. 
  • Sophomore Jolyn Wallenkendeh added three shots.
  • Sophomore defender turned goalkeeper Dominique Duvil (Long Island, N.Y./The Mary Louis Academy) finished with five saves on nine shots.

WHAT'S NEXT
  • Lincoln wraps up the season 11 a.m. Saturday, traveling to Daemen in ECC action.
