Box Score SYRACUSE, NY – In a contest that was moved to a private scrimmage due to issues with the roof of the Carrier Dome, the Lincoln University women's basketball team fell to #22 Syracuse, 90-39, Wednesday in the Carmelo Anthony Basketball Center.

Senior Skydajah Patterson (Bronx, N.Y./Bishop Loughlin) led the team with 11 points on 4-of-13 shooting and three rebounds, while senior Joy Morton (Yeadon, Pa./Penn Wood) added nine points and a team-high eight rebounds. Junior Kania Pollock (Queens, N.Y./The Mary Louis Academy) came off the bench for eight points and seven rebounds.





The Lions, despite being undersized, battled on the glass, and was only outrebounded by five (57-52). Lincoln was nearly even on the offensive boards, pulling down 20 to Syracuse's 21. The Orange did hold the 21-9 edge in second-chance points.

Lincoln (0-1) returns to action Tuesday with a road game against Mercyhurst.
