The Lions opened the fourth quarter by scoring nine of the first 11 points to get back to within single digits. However, back-to-back Colonels three-pointers sparked a 12-1 spurt to give GW a comfortable cushion.
The Orange and Blue shot just 18.6 percent (11-of-59) from the floor and 18.8 percent (3-of-16) from beyond the arc. Defensively, the held GW to 32.8 percent (21-of-64), including just 16 percent (4-of-25) from three-point range.
Lincoln continues its string of four straight Division I opponents to start the season with a trip to #24 Syracuse 7 p.m. Wednesday.
