Lincoln University women's soccer goalkeeper Lena Rodriguez (Lockport, Ill./Joliet Catholic Academy) recorded the 600^th save of her career on Sunday as the Lions closed out their season with an 11-0 loss to nationally ranked Mercy College at Lions Stadium.
 
Rodriguez entered the game with 587 career saves and reached the milestone with her 13th save in the 57^th minute.  The senior goalkeeper added six more saves to close out her career with 19 for in the game,and 606 for her career, a Lincoln school record.  Rodriguez currently leads NCAA Division II in total saves (238) and saves per game (15.87).   Lena finished her career averaging 10.45 saves per game(606, 58 games).  Her saves per game average and career saves numbers will rank her among the top ten all-time in NCAA Division II women's soccer for these two statistical categories. Rodriguez's single season numbers are also ranked in the top ten single season marks.  
 
Mercy (13-2-2, 5-1-2 ECC), ranked #24 nationally in the most recent Division II women's Soccer poll, scored four times in the first 20 minutes and added a fifth goal in the final minute of the first half to lead 5-0 at halftime.
 
The Mavericks added six more goals in the second half to close out the 11-4 win.  Anicia Reyes finished the game with four goals while Trista Seara had a goal and four assist to pace the Mavericks attack.  
 
The Lions finish their season at 1-15 overall and 0-8 in East Coast Conference games.
