Lincoln University, Pa. – The Lincoln Women's Soccer Team takes to the road in search of their first win of the season, taking on Washington Adventist University in Takoma Park, Maryland Thursday evening.

THE SERIES   
This will be the 24th meeting between these two teams. The series began in 2005. Washington Adventist was known as Columbia Union College at the start of the series through 2008. The Shock lead the all-time series 12-11 but the Lions are 6-4 against WAU in Takoma Park.  The two teams last met in 2017 with the Lions winning both contests by identical scores of 3-1.
LIONS HIGHLIGHTS
Lincoln enters the contest with a 0-5 overall record after a 15-0 loss at the hands of University of Bridgeport, the 2018 NCAA Division II National Champions.
Goalkeeper Lena Rodriguez (Lockport, Ill./Joliet Catholic Academy) is currently ranked third in NCAA division II in total saves with 67 in her first five games this season.  She is averaging 13.40 saves per game.  Rodriguez is currently the career saves leaders among active players with 435.
Kenya Davis (Brooklyn Park, Minn./Osseo) has the Lions lone goal this season, coming in their 2-1 loss to Salem University.
 
SCOUTING THE SHOCK
Washington Adventist enters the game with a 3-6 record.   The Shock are led by Ariella Amaguna who has 12 goals and two assists in seven games played.  Madeline Mejia adds five goals and five assists.
In goal for the Shock has been Leke Fontava who has 38 saves in seven games and a 3.69 goals against average.
