Lincoln University, Pa. – The Lincoln Women's Soccer Team will play their first home East Coast Conference  match of the 2019 season when they host Roberts Wesleyan College Friday evening at Lions Stadium

THE SERIES   
This will be the second meeting between these two teams with the Redhawks winning 5-0 the first time the Lions played them last season in Rochester, New York.
LIONS HIGHLIGHTS
Lincoln enters the contest with a 1-6 overall record after a 5-1 win over University of Valley Forge on Tuesday.  The win was the Lions first since October 2016 which also came against Valley Forge.  Lincoln is 0-2 in East Coast Conference (ECC) games.
 
Kenya Davis (Brooklyn Park, Minn./Osseo) scored three times against UVF and now has six goals for the season.  
Tamara Evans (Clayton, Del./Smyrna) scored twice against the Patriots and had an assist while 
Cedar Davidson (Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada/Aurora) added an assist in the win over the Patriots.  
 
Davis is averaging 0.86 goals/per game to rank 32
nd  among NCAA D2 players.  She also ranks  44
th in total goals (6) and 49
th in points per game (1.71).   Evans ranks 24
th in assists/game (0.57) and 46
th in total assists (4).
Goalkeeper 
Lena Rodriguez (Lockport, Ill./Joliet Catholic Academy) is currently leads the ECC and is ranked third in NCAA Division II in total saves with 87 in her first seven games this season.  She is averaging 12.43 saves per game. (2nd in NCAA D2).   Rodriguez is currently the career saves leaders among active players with 455
 
The Lions as a team also rank second in the nation in saves per  game (12.43).
SCOUTING THE REDHAWKS
Roberts Wesleyan College is 6-2-1 overall and 1-0-1 in ECC games.  RWC recorded a 0-0  tie against St. Thomas Aquinas and a 3-0 win over Queens College in their two conference matches.
 
The Redhawks improved to 3-0 on the road with a 1-0 win over Chestnut Hill College Thursday night.
 
Eleven different players have scored goals this season for the Redhawks with three players tied for the team lead with two apiece.  Isreala Groves leads the team with two goals and three assists for seven total points.
 
Kelsey Brinkel is allowing just 0.69 goals against as the Redhawks goalkeeper this season, giving up just six goals in nine games this season. (3
rd best in the ECC)
