The Series:  Lincoln leads the all-time series 6-4.  The Tigers won both contests last year defeating Lincoln 6-1 in Salem and 5-2 at Lions Stadium. The Lions have a 3-2 series lead at home and are 3-2 against the Tigers on the road.

Lincoln Preview:
The Lions dropped their first three contests of the season, falling at Mount Olive 8-0 and Holy Family 8-0 before succumbing at Chestnut Hill 3-1.  Freshman
Kenya Davis (Brooklyn Park, Minn./Osseo) scored Lincoln's lone goal against the Griffins with an assist from
Samanta Sosa (Roatán, Bay Islands, Honduras/Freedom (Harris-Stowe)). The game also marked the return to action for last year's leading scorer
Diana Martinez (Kissimmee, Fla./St. Cloud) who had missed the first two games with an injury. Martinez led the Lions with 18 goals last season, ranking sixth in all of NCAA Division II in goals/game. She had two shots against the Griffins.  Junior goalkeeper
Lena Rodriguez (Lockport, Ill./Joliet Catholic Academy) recorded a career high 16 saves against the Griffins.
Salem Preview
The Tigers managed 11 shots in their season opener against Lincoln Memorial University but fell 1-0 on September 1. Tamara Queiroz had nine of the 11 shots including all three Tiger shots on goal.
