The Lincoln University women's soccer team suffered their ninth loss of the season on Saturday, falling to Molloy College 10-1 at Lions Stadium.

The loss drops the Lions record to 0-9 on the season and 0-3 in East Coast Conference games. Molloy improves to 3-4-1 overall and 1-2 in league play.

Molloy scored five times in the first half and added five more in the second en route to the win. Amy D'Eloia had three goals on the night while Dana Poetzsch added two.

Lincoln's lone goal came in the 61
st minute, as
Diana Martinez (Kissimmee, Fla./St. Cloud) notched her fourth goal of the season with a header into the net directly off a corner kick from
Samanta Sosa (Roatán, Bay Islands, Honduras/Freedom (Harris-Stowe)).

The Lions finished the game with four shots on goal while Molloy produced 21.Â
Megan Dakwa (Gaithersburg, Md./Watkins Mill) had six saves in the first half and
Alana Ward (Holly Springs, N.C./Trotwood Madison (Ohio)) had five in the second.

The women's soccer team is back in action on Thursday October 4, 2018 when they host University of Bridgeport at Lions Stadium. Kickoff is 7:00 p.m.
