The Lincoln University Women's Soccer team will compete in their first ever East Coast Conference soccer match on Saturday as they host Queens College. The match will also be the Lions' home opener

Diana Martinez (Kissimmee, Fla./St. Cloud) who had missed the first two games with an injury. Martinez scored the Lincoln goal in their 9-1 loss to Salem University last Saturday. Junior goalkeeper
Lena Rodriguez (Lockport, Ill./Joliet Catholic Academy) recorded a career high 16 saves against Chestnut Hill and added 15 against Salem. Rodriguez is currently second in the ECC averaging 6.25 saves per game. The Lions as a team lead the ECC and are ranked second nationally in saves per game (13.50)
Queens Preview
Queens is also struggling offensively, scoring just four goals in their first four games. Guro Eriksen and Sarah Marino have two goals apiece. Marino's two goals came in the Knights' 3-2 overtime loss to Holy Family. Eriksen scored against St. Rose and Southern Connecticut State, both 2-1 losses. Shanae Kreps has given up 10 goals and recorded 17 saves in the net for the Knights.
