Lincoln did not have enough fire power to handle the Hawks of Chowan University. The Hawks who are now ranked 7^th in the nation came ready to play on seniors night and proved too much for Lincoln as they outscored the Lions 52-72. The Lions were led in scoring by senior Courtney Smith (Milwaukee, WI/Nicolet HS) who put up 10 points. The loss gives the Lions an 8-7 CIAA northern division record and a 13-10 record overall. The team remains in third place in the northern division moving into the CIAA Championships which begins February 23, 2016 in Charlotte NC. The last game of the regular season for the Lady Lions is Saturday February 20, 2016 at Virginia State University. Game time is 2:00 pm.
