Box Score The Lady Lions were beaten by the Hawks of Chowan University tonight. The final score was 61-77. The team came out flat and did not have the same energy they projected in their upset victory over 7^th ranked Virginia Union Monday night. The Hawks attacked and made things difficult for the Lions as they pounded the boards and out-rebounded the Lions throughout the game for second chance attempts. This was a tough shooting night for the Lions as they shot 43.33 for the game versus the hawks' 46.88%.  The Lions' percentage includes going 0-12 from the three point line.  

The Lions were led in scoring by Dejah Taylor who scored 13 points making 6 of 8 shots. Teira Pendleton (Baltimore, MD/Baltimore Poly Institute) also contributed to the effort with 12 points. Amani Clark (Middletown, DE/Appoquinimink HS) and LenNee Kimbel l each put up 10 in the losing effort. The loss takes the season total to 10-8 and 5-5 in the CIAA conference. The Lions next game is scheduled for Saturday January 30, 2016 against Virginia State University. Tipoff is 2:00 pm.
