The Lady Lions came up short tonight against Elizabeth City State University. The final score was 62-65. The team was led by junior guard, Monique Cheek (Teaneck, NJ/Harford Community College) who shot 6-13 to go along with 9 rebounds. Teira Pendleton (Baltimore, MD/Baltimore Poly Institute), sophomore forward also scored in double figures putting up 10 points in the losing effort. The lost leaves the team with a 4-4 CIAA record and 9-7 overall. The next game is back at home in Manuel Rivero Hall Saturday against Virginia Union University. The game starts at 2:00 pm.
