OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. – Freshman goalkeeper Kaylee Dennis (Ashburn, VA/Broad Run HS) had 13 saves for Lincoln against NYIT, but the Lady Lions were shutout 7-0 on Sunday, October 11^th.
 
NYIT scored three goals in the first period and then four more in the second to down Lincoln. Freshman Kayla Butts (Lansdowne, PA/Bonner Prendie Catholic HS) was the only LU attacker to attempt a shot against the stifling NYIT defense. Her shot on goal was in the second half in the 56^th minute of action. In total 30 shots was fired at goalie Kaylee Dennis (Ashburn, VA/Broad Run HS) with 20 reaching the goal.
 
Lincoln falls to 2-8 overall and will travel to Wilmington, Del. On Wednesday, October 14^th for a 3:15 pm matchup against Goldey-Beacom College.
