Box Score LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA - The Lincoln University women's basketball team played their final home game of the season on Wednesday February, 12th and fell to Elizabeth City State University 60-55. Zephrah Pam (Syracuse, NY/Monroe CC) recorded her seventh double-double of the season with a game-high 14 rebounds and 12 points.

Senior guard Cynthia Johnson (Baltimore, MD/Baltimore Polytechnic Institute) led Lincoln with 16 points in a losing effort.

The first half was highly competitive for the most part. During the first 15 minutes, the game was tied six times and neither team led by more than four points. The Lady Lions led by six after a pair of free-throws by junior forward Zephrah Pam (Syracuse, NY/Monroe CC) with 3:39 left in the half.

Lincoln brought the deficit down to three on two separate occasions in the opening two minutes in the second half. However Elizabeth City State took further control of the game.

In the middle of the half they had stretched the lead to as many as nine multiple times.

The Lady Lions trailed 41-50 with 10:15 to go. Starting from there they put together a 10-4 run over the next six plus minutes. They were right back in the game, down three with a little under four minutes left.

The Lady Lions let the lead grow over the next two minutes, but they were down by just three again with 44 seconds left. It was at that moment they forced a turnover and regained possession of the ball with a chance to tie the game.

Cynthia Johnson (Baltimore, MD/Baltimore Polytechnic Institute) pulled up for a three-point attempt moments later but came up short. Elizabeth City State grabbed the rebound and was sent to the foul line for one shot by Lincoln shortly after.

The free-throw missed and the rebound was gathered by junior forward Courtney Lucas (Washington, DC/Friendship Collegiate Academy) who scored nine points. Shortly after, Johnson was fouled and headed to the line for two shots with 13 seconds left.

She missed both as Elizabeth City State recovered the ball and then called timeout.

Lincoln sent them back to the line following the timeout, which resulted in another pair of missed free throws. Pam rebounded the second miss, but the ball was stolen shortly after with nine seconds left.

For the final time, Elizabeth City State was sent to the line where they hit both shots on this trip to push the lead to five and clinch the victory.

Cynthia Johnson (Baltimore, MD/Baltimore Polytechnic Institute)'s full stat line in the contest was 16 points, six rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks.

Zephrah Pam (Syracuse, NY/Monroe CC) finished with 12 points and 14 rebounds for her seventh double-double.

Before the game the team's two seniors Johnson and forward Briana McKellery (Odenton, MD/Arundel HS) were honored as they played their last game in front of the Lincoln crowd.
