Edward McKenzie (Paterson, NJ/Lackwanna College) passed for 137 total yards and a pair of touchdowns, but Virginia Union defeated the Lions 78-13 on Saturday, October 11
th at Hovey Field.

Edward McKenzie (Paterson, NJ/Lackwanna College) tossed two touchdowns in the second quarter against the Panthers. McKenzie completed 7-of-23 passing attempts for 137 total yards and threw his first touchdown of 67-yards to junior tight end
Kenneth Faulcon (Aberdeen, MD/Aberdeen HS) with 8:57 left to play in the first half. That was the Lions largest play of the game finishing with 196 yards of total offense. Three minutes later in the second quarter, McKenzie found senior wide receiver
Brakeem Jackson (Philadephia, PA/University City HS) on a 20-yard pass in the back of the endzone.
Faulcon led the wide receivers with 67 yards followed by junior
Brandon Rowe (Harlem, NY/Hudson Valley CC)'s three catches for 24 yards.
Brakeem Jackson (Philadephia, PA/University City HS) finished with a pair of catches for 46 yards and sophomore
Larquise Hobbs (Lansing, MI/J.W. Sexton HS) also had two catches for 26 yards.
Virginia Union dominated the CIAA Northern Divisional battle collecting 697 total yards. Lincoln falls to 1-5 and 0-3 in CIAA play after a 78-13 loss to Virginia Union.
Lincoln will host Elizabeth City State in their next game on Saturday, October 18
th for their 2014 Homecoming in LU Stadium.
