Box Score Lincoln University, PA - Junior forward, Zeprah Pam recorded her fifth double of the season posting 18 points with 15 rebounds in a 65-63 win for the Lady Lions over Virginia Union University on Saturday, January 25
th in Manuel Rivero Hall.
Lincoln found success early against Virginia Union by out-rebounding the Lady Panthers 24-19 in the opening period. The Lady Lions had 16 offensive rebounds that led to 14 second chance points.
Zephrah Pam (Syracuse, NY/Monroe CC) combined for seven rebounds and added nine points. Pam nailed 5-of-8 free-throws while three others hit shots from long range. Junior forward,

Virginia Union expanded their lead to 40-32 at the 17:32 mark in the second half, before senior guard

Amani Clark (Middletown, DE/Appoquinimink HS) scored back-to-back layups to cut the VUU lead to 42-41.
Amani Clark (Middletown, DE/Appoquinimink HS) continued her aggressive play on offense as Lincoln reclaimed the lead 43-42 at the 15:19 mark. The Lady Lions went on a 10-0 run and opened up their largest lead 59-47 with 9:13 left to play in regulation. Lincoln never trailed for the remainder of the game and were able to seal their second CIAA Northern Divisional win with free-throws in the final minute.
Zephrah Pam (Syracuse, NY/Monroe CC) converted on 3-of-4 attempts from the line and added nine second half points as the Lady Lions downed Virginia Union 65-63.

Jessica Kern and her Lady Lions snapped an 11-game losing streak to the Lady Panthers dating back to 2007. Lincoln had 10 points off of nine Virginia Union turnovers in the second half and improved their shooting from the field from 31% in the first half to 41% in the second half.

Courtney Lucas (Washington, DC/Friendship Collegiate Academy) dished out four assists and recorded her third 10+ rebounding effort of the season with 13 rebounds.
