Tara O'Brien (Twickenham London, UK/St. Mark's Catholic School) had 16 goals which was the previous record and prior to O'Brien, Stephanie Anderson netted 14 goals in 2008.
The Lions dominated the match with 34 shots to Washington Adventist's two. Goalkeeper
Jessica Obodo (Piscataway, NJ/Piscataway HS) had her first career-shutout with one save against the Shock.

Dena Ingraham (Nassau, Bahamas/Kingsway Academy) led the Lions offense with nine shots each. Harris had seven shots on goal while Ingraham posted six. Harris scored goals in the 30
