Harris Lifts Lions Over Washington Adventist, 6-0

Box Score Takoma Park, MD – Christian Harris (Rochester, NY/The Aquinas Institute) led the Lions with three goals and two assists in a 6-0 shutout victory over Washington Adventist on Sunday, October 20.
 
With two matches remaining the Lions have a record of 8-3-2 their best ever in Lincoln women's soccer history.
 
Freshman Christian Harris (Rochester, NY/The Aquinas Institute) recorded three goals against the Shock and set a new Lincoln University single season-record with 18 goals this season. Last season, Tara O'Brien (Twickenham London, UK/St. Mark's Catholic School) had 16 goals which was the previous record and prior to O'Brien, Stephanie Anderson netted 14 goals in 2008.
 
The Lions dominated the match with 34 shots to Washington Adventist's two. Goalkeeper Jessica Obodo (Piscataway, NJ/Piscataway HS) had her first career-shutout with one save against the Shock.
 
Christian Harris (Rochester, NY/The Aquinas Institute) and Dena Ingraham (Nassau, Bahamas/Kingsway Academy)  led the Lions offense with nine shots each. Harris had seven shots on goal while Ingraham posted six. Harris scored goals in the 30th, 53rd, and 70th minutes of the match. She assisted on scores to Alanna Van Ness (Piscataway, NJ/Piscataway HS) in the 58th minute and to Dena Ingraham (Nassau, Bahamas/Kingsway Academy) in the 85th minute.
 
Tara O'Brien (Twickenham London, UK/St. Mark's Catholic School) extended the Lions lead to 4-0 with a goal in the 70th minute off a pass from Haley Hendricks (Carlsbad, Calif./Carlsbad HS).
