CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Lincoln University women's tennis team was in action over the weekend as the Lady Lions went 1-2 in CIAA Cross Divisional play.
 
Lincoln dropped 9-0 decisions to Winston-Salem State and Johnson C. Smith, but picked up a hard fought 6-3 win over Livingstone College to conclude play at the round-up.
 
Against the Lady Blue Bears, Lincoln entered singles action down, 2-1. However, the Lady Lions got singles wins by Uniquewa Rogers (Trenton, N.J./Pennsbury HS), Destiny Sample (/), Sharmaine Henderson (Sacramento, Calif./Pleasant Grove HS), Shari Davis (Clinton, Md./Gwynn Park HS) and Sherlina Holland (Baltimore, Md./Northwestern HS).
 
Lincoln returns to action March 23-24 in Petersburg, Va., in the CIAA Northern Division Round-up.
