Sinforosa has nine saves in Lincoln loss

Emily Woodruff had a few good opportunities at goal on Sunday as Lincoln lost to Georgian Court
Box Score LAKELAND, N.J. – Sima Sinforosa finished with nine saves, but it wasn't enough as the Lincoln University women's soccer team fell, 8-0, on Sunday afternoon to Georgian Court University at Investors Savings Bank Field.
 
Lincoln (4-6) trailed, 2-0, at the half and couldn't recover in the second half, despite several good attempts at goal by Emily Woodruff (San Diego, CA/Madison HS), Haley Hendricks (Carlsbad, Calif./Carlsbad HS) and Courtney Moss (Freeport, Bahamas/Sunland Baptist Academy).
 
Casey O'Connor and Erika Aponte each had one save for Georgian Court (8-3-1).
 
The Lady Lions return home for back-to-back games as Lincoln takes on Washington Adventist on Oct. 17 and will meet Chowan on Oct. 21 at Lincoln University Stadium.
