OXFORD, Pa. (April 10, 2011) — The grittiness displayed by Leslie Reid-Bey (Sickelerville, N.J./Winslow Township HS) garnered the respect of everybody at the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Round-up on Sunday.

With a sore back plaguing her all weekend long, the sophomore that alternates between the No. 1 and No. 2 singles positions, refused to let down her teammates and sit out the final regular-season conferences of the season.

Instead, she bumped down to No. 5 singles where she dominated Bowie State's Kassandra Bishop, 8-2, the lone individual match win for the Lady Lions (1-15, 1-15 CIAA) on the day. They lost to Virginia State, 9-0, and the Lady Bulldogs, 8-1.
