LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa.  — Leslie Reid-Bey (Sickelerville, N.J./Winslow Township HS) rallied from a 1-7 hole to defeat Chowan University's Melinda Williams, 8-7, in Saturday's third singles match.

“I realized she didn't like to run,” Reid-Bey said, “so I started to hit the ball short and work it to the sides.”

Reid-Bey won her doubles matched teamed with Stephanie Henry (Pleasantville, N.J./Pleasantville), 8-6.  They defeated Williams and Jennifer Mitchell.

The Hawks, though, took the meet, 5-2.
