Volleyball drops two at Wilmington triangular

Box Score vs. Wimington University
Box Score vs. Caldwell College

WILMINGTON, Del. —
The Lady Lions, coming off two wins this past week in the conference, could not use the momentum to upset Caldwell College and Wilmington University.

Lincon dropped the opening match to host Wilmington, 3-0 (17-25, 16-25, 7-25) before falling to Caldwell, 3-0 (10-25, 22-5, 14-25).

The day brought to a close two stellar careers. Noel Webster (Hagerston, MD/Elkton) offered four kills in each match to give her 418 in her three-year career. Lia Hubbard (Farrell, PA/Farrell ) will go down as the one of the better setters in LU history. With nine assists on Saturday, including five versus Caldwell, Hubbard finishes with 1,259 dishes in her career.

The Lady Lions finished 2010 at 5-26 with all of those wins coming inside of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association for a 5-15 record in the conference.
