Randle began the indoor track season in style for the Lions. In the first meet of the season at the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore, Randle set a school record in the long jump, breaking Thomas Thompson's 11-year-old record. Randle won the long jump by soaring 26 feet. Randle added another first-place finish in the same meet by winning the 60-meter hurdles (8.49 seconds).

Randle followed that effort up by running a season-best 8.35 seconds in placing third in the 60-meter hurdles at the Christopher Newport University Holiday Open.
