Aiden hit safely in five of the Lions six games last week, getting seven hits in 19 at-bats for a .368 average.  He scored five runs and had three RBI.   On March 10 at Paine College, Gomes hit his first double of the season, a hit that should have been called a home run but was ruled a ground rule double by the umpire.  The next day he got his first home run of the season, a solo shot in the seventh inning in Lincoln's second game at Claflin university.  Aiden currently leads the team in on-base% with a .463 average and is second on the team with a .371 batting average.
