Richardson, a junior transfer from Raritan Valley CC, came off the bench to score 17 points as the Lions nearly overcame a 19-point deficit to Johnson C. Smith before losing 78-71. Richardson's 17 points put him over the 1,000 point mark for his collegiate career, having scored 966 points in two seasons at Raritan Valley
