The Lincoln University's Alonzo Murphy (Pittsburgh, PA/California University (PA)) was named CIAA Co-Newcomer of the Week on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, for the first week of the regular season (Games through Nov. 22, 2014).

Senior Alonzo Murphy (Pittsburgh, PA/California University (PA)) recorded double-doubles in back-to-back games for the Lions. He scored 10 points on 5-of-9 shot attempts from the field and grabbed 10 rebounds against U Sciecnes and in a win over Goldey-Beacom he recorded a career-high 14 points, had 11 rebounds, and a career-high four steals.
