Cynthia Johnson, a native of Randallstown, Md., was named the Lincoln University Female Athlete of the Week. Johnson poured in 22 points, including going 9-of-14 from the floor to lead the Lady Lions to their first CIAA Basketball Tournamenht victory. For her effort, Johnson was named the game's Most Valuable Player. On the very next night against Fayetteville State, Johnson had 12 points before fouling out with 10 minutes remaining.
