Mfon Ekanem, a native of Springdale, Md., was selected the Lincoln University Female Athlete of the Week. In three games last week, Ekanem averaged three points and 12.7 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and 1.0 assists. She pulled down a career-high 21 rebounds, including 13 on the defensive glass against Ohio Valley University on Jan. 2. She also had four blocks and two steals in that game.
