Doug Cook, a native of Dania Beach, Fla., was named the Lincoln University Male Co-Athlete of the Week. Cook finished his freshman year by going 21-of-42 passing for 232 yards and two touchdowns in the loss to Elizabeth City State. His 49-yard touchdown pass to Matthew Coston put Lincoln on the board. For his performance against ECSU, Cook was named the CIAA Rookie of the Week.
