Tara O'Brien, a native of Twickenham, London, UK, was named the Lincoln University Female Athlete of the Week. O'Brien, a freshman midfielder, played all 90 minutes and helped the Lady Lions win their first game of the season. With the score tied at 1, O'Brien scored the game-winning goal against Chowan in the 76th minute as she beat two defenders and slid the ball into the back of the net.
