Alexis Cubbage, a native of North Plainfield, N.J., was named the Lincoln University Female Athlete of the Week. Cubbage set the pace for the Lincoln women's cross country team on Saturday by finishing 40th in the HBCU section of the Great American Cross Country Festival in Cary, N.C. She ran the 5K race in a season best 21:58.
