Daron Jones, a native of Baltimore, Md., earns the Lincoln University Male Athlete of the Week honor after helping the Lincoln football team to a 19-10 CIAA victory over Virginia Union on Saturday. Jones, a senior defensive back, had a big night for the Lions by recording 5.5 tackles and returned an interception 60 yards for a touchdown, which sealed the win. Jones, who returned an interception against Kentucky State back for a touchdown a week earlier, also recorded a pair of pass breakups.
