SPORTS MEDICINE SERVICES AND FACILITIES
We would like to welcome you to Lincoln University. As you begin to make your travel arrangements, we would like to inform you of what will be available to your team.
The Athletic Training Room is located on the first floor of Manuel Rivero Hall adjacent to the men’s locker room and classroom 226. Manuel Rivero Hall is located on the southwest corner of the campus. A certified Athletic Trainer, will be available for taping and treatment one hour prior to games and a half-hour after games. If your team will be traveling without a certified athletic trainer, please call Chris Fertal at (610) 357-4565 and send explicit instructions for treatment and taping of your team. We also ask that you send a medical kit with supplies. During the game your team will be provided with water and injury ice. Splints, crutches and other first aid equipment will be available as necessary.
Modalities & Supplies available:
Ultrasound and Electrical Stimulation (with written instructions by ATC or physician only) Hydro collator, Paraffin Wax, Injury Ice, Ice Cups, Water, Cups, Ice Bags, Splints, and Crutches (to be returned at earliest convenience), if needed.
