PETERSBURG, Va. – The Lincoln University men's tennis team ended its season on Thursday night with a 6-0 loss to Chowan at the CIAA Championships.
 
Lincoln fell behind 3-0 after doubles play as the team of Austin Kische (Yreka, Calif./Yreka HS) and Nathaniel Sangster (Port of Spain, Trinidad/Sacred Heart College) fell to Danilo Galovic and Pedro Aiala, 8-3. Jethro Spikes (Sarasota, Fla./) and Michael Edjei lost to Jaqwese Williams and Scott Van Eck, 8-2, while Tim Green (Fanwood, N.J./Scotch Plains-Fanwood HS) and Elias Besong (/) were defeated by Sasha Kirsanov and Ivan Doubograev, 8-0.
 
In singles play, Williams blanked Besong, 6-0, 6-0, and Galovic defeated Adjei, 6-0, 6-0. Doubograev bested Sangster, 6-0, 6-0, to give Chowan the 6-0 victory.
