RALEIGH, N.C. —  With a defeat of Livingstone College at the CIAA Western Divisional Meet Saturday, the Lincoln women's bowling team avenged a defeat to the Lady Blue Bears yesterday.

Overall, Lincoln went 1-5 after going 3-3 in the opening day of competition to leave the season record at 11-31.

Lincoln defeated Livingstone, 688-623. After winning matches yesterday against Saint Augustine's College, Shaw University and Chowan, those teams each retaliated with a win over the Lady Lions.

The action continues Sunday.
