PHILADELPHIA, PA. (September 27, 2008) – Lincoln University of Pennsylvania junior Alisha McKeithan (Philadelphia, PA/Strath Haven) (Philadelphia, PA/Strath Haven) and sophomore Ivri Daniels (Philadelphia, PA/Prep Charter) (Philadelphia, PA/Imhotep Charter) finished in the top 50 at the annual Belmont Classic Cross-Country meet Saturday afternoon. (RESULTS)

McKeithan finished the 5000-meter course in 43^rd place in a time of 22 minutes, 38.90 seconds. Meanwhile, Daniels, running in her first career colleigiate meet, showed plenty of promise by finishing 46^th in 22:45.21 seconds. Senior Kristina Rembert (Bronx, NY) was 67^th overall in a time of 23:50.19. Sophomore Aisha Crowley (Brooklyn, NY/Bishop Loughlin) was 120^th in a time of 27:11.49.

Ursinus edged Philadelphia University, 66-67 for the team title.
