Tamara Greene (Piscataway, N.J./Piscataway) was named to the Eastern Conference Athletic Conference Division II Women's Soccer All Star Team as announced by the ECAC communications office today. Â Greene was selected as a First Team honoree.
A senior midfielder, Greene is just the third soccer player in the history of the program and the first since 2012 to earn ECAC All-Star recognition, joining
Tara O'Brien (Twickenham London, UK/St. Mark's Catholic School) and
Haley Hendricks (Carlsbad, Calif./Carlsbad HS) who were both named in 2012). Earlier this month, she was named to the Division II conference commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Atlantic Region Team as a second team honoree.
Greene led the Lions in nearly every offensive category in 2016, scoring ten goals and assisting on seven others. She finished the year with 27 total points.  Tamara's point and goal are the sixth highest single season marks in program history.

th highest total in the nation. Greene also ranked amongst the top five players in the region in five other categories: assists per game (tied-first, 0.5); goals/gm. (third, .71); total assists (third); total points (fourth) and total goals scored (fifth).
Greene concluded her 2016 campaign with five goals in her final two games and scored at least one goal in five of her final six games. She earned ECAC Player of the Week honors for her seven point effort vs. Trinity College on October 26. In that game, Greene recorded a natural hat-trick, becoming just the fifth player in program history to record a hat-trick and the third to record a natural hat-trick (first since O'Brien in 2012).
A four-year starter for the Lions, Greene concluded her career as Lincoln's all-time leader in games played (56) and started (52). She finished her career with 17 goals and 42 points (both fifth highest in program history), along with eight career assists (fourth best all-time).
