Bowling enjoys unprecedented success

RALEIGH, N.C. — A bit of history was made Friday by defeating Shaw, Saint Augustine's and Chowan Friday evening.

The wins over the Lady Bears proved epic, as LU became the first school to defeat Shaw and Saint Augustine's this season. It also marked the the first time the Lady Lions won three matches in a day.

"I'm very proud of our girls," head coach Timothy Lewis said. "They bowled very well today, and those wins were very big, especially the ones Saint Augustine's and Shaw."

Agaist the Lady Bears, LU bowled 12 strikes and followed that up with an even better performance against the Lady Golden Bulls with 13 strikes.

Lincoln dropped matches with Johnson C. Smith, Livingstone and Fayttevile State.
