Men take fourth, beat Neuman in duel

READING, Pa.
— The men's cross country team decided to kickoff the homecoming celebrations early by placing fourth in the 8,100-meter run.
 
The meet took fourth place at the Albright College Homecoming Invitational in Reading, Pa., on Saturday. The three top Lion finishers were Tarem Connonier (29:47.97), Vincent Thomas (Colmbia, PA/Columbia ) (30:50.03), and Melvin Lopez (Brooklyn, NY/) (31:18.34) who all played a vital part in the Lion's overall team score. They placed eighth, 15th and 18th, respectively.
 
The race was also scored in a duel format against York College and Neumann College. York, under the strength of second, third and fifth place finish, defeated Lincoln. Lincoln, on the other hand, soundly defeated Neuman College, which did not have a runner cross until the 19th position.
 
The Lions travel to Newark, Del., Saturday, Sept. 10 to compete at the University of Delaware Invitational.
