ETTRICK, Va. (September 20, 2008) – Lincoln University of Pennsylvania junior Alisha McKeithan (Philadelphia, PA/Strath Haven) and sophomore Kristina Rembert finished in the top 10 of the Virginia State University women's cross-country meet Saturday afternoon. (MEET RESULTS TO BE POSTED LATER)
McKeithan was fourth and Rembert was seventh for the Lady Lions.
“They ran a super race,” Lincoln women's cross-country coach Cyrus D. Jones said. “I thought they gave a valiant effort today. Alisha is doing a super job for us.”
The Lincoln women's cross-country team will be back in action next Saturday morning when it competes in the Belmont Classic Metro Meet in Philadelphia.
