WEST CHESTER, PA. (November 5, 2008) – The Lincoln University of Pennsylvania volleyball team concluded its 2008 season with a 3-0 defeat to host West Chester University at Hollinger Fieldhouse Wednesday night. (BOXSCORE)

Lincoln senior Donneisha Smith (Milwaukee, WI/Harold S. Vincent) led Lincoln (7-22 overall) with five kills. Senior Lindsey Wilson (Aliquippa, PA/Aliquippa) added a season-high and team best 11 digs. Senior Jordean Matthews (Pleasantville, NJ/Pleasantville) collected six digs. Freshman Shantell Fletcher (Philadelphia, PA/Scotland School) recorded a team-high four assists.

The Golden Rams, who are ranked ninth in the Atlantic region in the latest NCAA/AVCA Division II volleyball rankings, defeated Lincoln, 25-11, 25-5, 25-9. West Chester improved its record to 24-8 behind 11 kills from Lacie Becher and 20 assists from Lisa Yeasted.
