Committee members along with members of the Lincoln University football team enjoyed time in the fresh air while helping the campers with homemade art projects, singing camp songs and dancing to up tempo music.
Volunteers for the weekend included senior volleyball and track runner and health science major Donneisha Smith (Milwaukee, WI/Harold S. Vincent) (Milwaukee, WI/Harold S. Vincent), senior track runner and health science Jamir Kirby (New Castle, DE/New Castle), freshman football player and business major Brucelee Sterile (Miami, Fla./North Miami Beach HS) (Miami, FL/North Miami Beach), freshman football player and biology major Jordan Jones (Miami, Fla./North Miami Beach HS) (Miami, FL/North Miami Beach), junior football player and business major Myles Fleming (Carlisle, PA/Carlisle) (Carlisle, PA/Carlisle) and senior tennis player and finance major Sherell Harwell (Deptford, NJ/Gloucester Tech). Lincoln University Compliance Director and Senior Women's Administrator Natasha Wilson advised the student-athletes on the trip.
SAAC is a committee made up of a student-athletes assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience. This year, Lincoln's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee has hosted an “EAT RIGHT, GET RIGHT” forum about eating healthy was one of many events the committee held this past semester.
