Goucher spoils Lincoln's home finale with second-half scoring surge
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA. (October 19, 2008) – The Lincoln University of Pennsylvania women’s soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to Goucher College Sunday afternoon. (BOXSCORE)
Freshman goalie Brittany Johnson made 10 saves for the Lady Lions, who were playing their home finale. Lincoln fell to 4-10-2 overall. The Lady Lions finished with five shots. Senior Tia Redden had a team-high two shots. Junior Antonia Jones, sophomore Shaynita Blanchard and junior Danisha Anderson finished with one shot each for Lincoln.
Both teams were tied, 0-0 at halftime. Goucher’s Sisley Pumilia finished with two goals and an assist. The Gophers record improved to 6-6-1.
Lincoln finishes its 2008 season Tuesday afternoon when it visits Penn State-Harrisburg for a 4:00 p.m. start.
